The boys showed great spirit and determination to come away with the victory in extremely warm conditions to make it 3-in-row county titles for Dromore. Fantastic achievement 🏆 Our camogie girls were runners up in the Roinn 2 County Final. They played a strong Bridgend side. Well done girls on bringing home lovely silver county medals 🥈We are so proud of you all
We are champions! Finn Harps Frans Field Cup winners 2018!
Well done to our boys and girls teams who took part in the Finn Harps Fran Fields Cup at the sunny Harps Academy in The Crossroads. Our boys made home advantage count and were victorious in this great football tournament. They won all 5 of their matches today and didn't concede a single goal, fantastic achievement. The team played some brilliant football and displayed super skills throughout the day. The boys team were: Oisín Duffy (c), Oisín Coyle, Conor Galvin, Bryan Irwin, Cathaír Browne, Caolán Duffy and Conor Gallen. Our girls team were unlucky not to get through the group stages, drawing two matches and losing just one. Hard luck girls. The children represented our school well and were commended on their good behaviour.
Well done to our boys and girls hurling and camogie teams who took part in a blitz at the Finn Valley Centre. Our boys were unlucky not to progress to the next round as they beat both Stranorlar NS and Sessiaghoneill NS but lost out to the Gaelscol Donegal Town. Congratulations to our girls team for winning all their matches and now progress to the County Finals (date to be confirmed) Good luck girls!
Well done to our boys and girls Gaelic Football teams for taking part in a blitz in Mac Cumhaill Park. Congratulations to our boys team who were victorious on the day beating Dooish NS and Scoil Bhríde Convoy. They played some brilliant football on the day and now progress to the next round.
The FAI Schools Cup took place at The Curragh Athletic pitch in Killygordon. We had a boys and girls team playing in this tournament. Our boys team made it out of a tough group of 6 teams, winning 4 games and drawing one, playing some fantastic football along the way. They made it to the semi-finals but unfortunately didn't progress to the final. The boys can be very proud of reaching this far in the competition and were just unlucky on the day. Our girls team enjoyed 4 matches in their group and played well but unfortunately they didn't get out of their group. Well done to everyone who took part and despite the cold weather, a great day was had by all.
